Brandon Yost is currently in his 2nd year as Principal at Diamond Valley Elementary School. Brandon is honored to work with such great teachers, staff members, students, and parents at Diamond Valley. Diamond Valley is a very special place with a unique culture. They are a Gold STEM school recognized by USBE and the STEM Action Center. Additionally, they are a magnet school in the district for the Advanced Learning Program, and finally, they are a Spanish Dual Language Immersion school. Prior to working at Diamond Valley, Brandon was the Title I Site Coordinator at Sunset Elementary for three years. Before Sunset, he taught ESL, Reading, Latinos in Action, and Student Ambassadors at Snow Canyon Middle School for 7 years. Brsndon also teaches evening adjunct classes in the education department at Dixie State University. Brandon holds a Ph.D. degree from UNLV in Teacher Education and a M.Ed. degree in Educational Leadership from SUU. He received his B.A. degree from BYU-Hawaii in TESOL and Secondary Education. Brandon loves learning and sharing what he learns. He is happily married to Collette and a proud dad of his six kids, Dallin, Emmalee, Felicity, Gavin, Hunter, and Iley.
